Giraffe, the mobile recruitment company that recently won the award for best South African startup 2015, has started offering recruitment services to call centres.
Giraffe initially focused on the retail and hospitality sectors, and now counts Nando’s, Pizza Hut and several other major retail and hospitality brands as its customers, with whom it has placed cashiers, cooks, waiters, managers and drivers across the province.
In the last month, however, Giraffe has expanded its services to the call centre industry, and has already started working with some major call centres in Johannesburg- providing call centre agents, customer service agents, sales people, team leaders and managers.
“The call centre industry is booming in South Africa,” asserted Shafin Anwarsha, Giraffe’s Head of Product, adding, “Giraffe is able to contribute to this growth by offering large volumes of quality call centre agent candidates at extremely low cost and in a very rapid turnaround time.”
Giraffe aims to be more than ten times cheaper and ten times faster than any other recruitment service. Giraffe’s automated system enables the firm to schedule as many as a hundred qualified candidates for interview in less than 48 hours after receiving a staff request.
